How much notice does a landlord have to give for unpaid rent in Indiana?
Short answer
Unpaid rent: at least 10 days' notice before ending the lease (the tenant can pay in full within the notice period)
Notice: At least 10 days after the notice for unpaid rent is given, unless the tenant pays in full first
If a tenant does not pay rent when due, the landlord may end the lease with at least ten days' notice, unless the parties agreed otherwise or the tenant pays the rent in full before the notice period ends. The statute gives a form of notice.
